It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged. It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset.

The faculty has also gained a reputation for utilizing scientific knowledge in solving problems in local communities. We have dedicated scientists to create novel innovations and are ready to extend their know-how. We facilitate a well-equipped central laboratory for both in-house and external service. We promote the research network of domestic and international institutions both in academic and industrial linkages. We encourage staff/student exchanges, collaborative development of research, and cooperation with industries.
